Yusuf Muhammadu Buhari, son of Nigeria’s late former President Muhammadu Buhari, has emerged victorious in the APC primary election for the Sandamu/Daura/Mai’adua Federal Constituency seat after a sweeping win at the polls.
Yusuf Buhari secured a massive 5,849 votes to defeat Hon. Auwal Lawal Daura, who garnered just 21 votes in the keenly watched primary election.
The outcome has since generated widespread reactions across political circles in Katsina State, with many describing the result as a strong show of support for the Buhari family within the ruling APC.
