Tributes and goodwill messages have continued to pour in for the Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, as he celebrates his 54th birthday.
Among those who joined family, friends, political associates, and admirers in celebrating the commissioner is Ayofe Abdullah, recipient of the prestigious 2025 DigiMedia Summit Best Political Communicator of the Year award, who described Wahab as a leader, mentor, and exceptional administrator whose commitment to public service remains inspiring.
In a congratulatory message made available on Sunday, Abdullah praised Wahab’s dedication to leadership, environmental transformation, and urban development in Lagos.
He noted that the commissioner’s work ethic, courage, and passion for excellence have distinguished him as one of the outstanding public office holders in the state.
According to him, Wahab has continued to demonstrate that true leadership is measured by impact, discipline, and results, especially through his contributions to environmental reforms and sustainable urban management.
Abdullah further prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, strength, and greater accomplishments for the celebrant, wishing him many more years of sound health, peace, and success in both public and personal life.
Tokunbo Wahab has played a prominent role in the environmental and infrastructural reforms of Lagos State, particularly in areas relating to sanitation, drainage management, and urban renewal.
