The magistrate court of Lagos State has arraigned Saheed Olayinkan Paseda for disobedience to court order.
Upon the hearing of application for interlocutory Injunction in Suit No. ID/8908GCMW/2022, PRINCE JAMIU YEKINI OLATUNJI & OTHER VS SAHEED PASEDA & ORS Hon. Justice Lawal-Akapo of Lagos State High Court, Ikeja Division, on the 15th of December, 2023, granted an order restraining Saheed Paseda from parading himself as the Oshorun of Isheri Oke and restraining him from occupying the Palace(Iga), 33 Ogun River Road, Isheri Oke in Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Kosofe Local Government.
However, he continued to parading himself and continued to occupying the Palace, prompting the claimants to file a petition to the Office of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Lagos State CID, Panti.
He appeared at the State CID on the 17th of August 2026 and was granted an administrative bail. He jumped the bail, the Police rearrest him at his hideout, and arraign him on 2 counts charges.
After the arguments,He was granted bail on the condition, which includes that his counsel, Lawyer Gbenga Ojo should deposited his original call to Bar certificate to the court and he was granted bail. Since they granted him bail the criminal charges against him continue at the magistrate court for further prosecutions.
